*** After further examination of the wash and wear on our DEGAJE tees, we have found they do not hold up to our quality control standards. They are fading with a distressed look to them upon washing, and as a result we have decided to discount them. The DEGAJE tee is now on final sale.
One of those words in Kreyol that doesn't have an exact translation but is so good you will use it again and again. Loosely translated it means 'make it work'. The license plate is coming off the back of the motto? Use zip ties. There's a leak coming from the roof into the house? Plug it with a plastic bag. There's crazy traffic on the roads? Walk. Yes, all of these things have actually happened to us. In krenglish (Kreyol + English) when problems would arise, we would just say - 'degaje it'.
With its clean modern design and soft (100%) cotton feel, you'll never want to take this tee off, and we wouldn't blame you.
* Our tees are typically made in Haiti by our partners at GOEX apparel, but due to gangs in Haiti blocking trade to and from the ports for the past year (and beyond), GOEX was faced with the difficult decision to outsource some of their work to a factory in the Dominican Republic. The factory in the DR does provide their employees with a safe work environment and pays fairly. By outsourcing to a nearby factory, GOEX was able to continue to pay their Haitian staff during this very difficult season. We are so honored to continue partnering with GOEX in providing safe employment for people in Haiti + beyond.
