Bonjou {bon-joo} means good morning in Haitian Creole. We were adamant about using Creole over French when creating Bonjou Boutique because it was important to us to be as authentic and transparent to who we are as possible. So naturally, we knew it needed to be the first piece of apparel in our shop!
With our clean and minimalist style font coupled with the tee being made of 50% recycled cotton and 50% organic cotton, you'll want to wear it every day (that's ok, go for it! Won't tell anyone). And guess what... that's right... it's ethically manufactured in Haiti!
Our bonjou. tee has a relaxed breathable fit sewn in Haiti and printed in the US by GoEx Apparel - a fair trade certified company supplying each of their employees with fair wages and dignified employment in hopes of strengthening Haitian families.
